Jamie Driscoll, DVM
Dr. Driscoll developed her love of animals at an early age growing up on a dairy farm in Connecticut. This early exposure to all types of animals led to an interest in equestrian sports, a lifelong love of riding, and close relationships with all creatures great and small.
She received her BA from Boston University and her Doctorate from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation she practiced in Upstate New York, eventually returning to Massachusetts, first at the Angell Memorial Hospital on Nantucket Island, then at the Eastham Veterinary Hospital.

She considers herself an old school general practitioner. She loves meeting pets as babies and seeing them throughout their whole lives. She loves wellness medicine. As boring as some may think, she loves preventative and wellness medicine.
The most rewarding part of her job is knowing that by treating and caring for your pets, she is doing the same with their owners.
Outside of work she loves to take her boat out during the summer. Dr. Preston loves hanging out with her dog and is constantly greatly entertained by her growing menagerie of parrots that have the run of the house when she is home. Luckily for her, her dog loves the birds or at least ignores them.

She is a member of the AVMA, MVMA, American Association of Feline Practitioners, and the Humane Society Veterinary Medical Association.
Outside of work she enjoys kayaking, snowboarding and horseback riding. Recently, she picked up 3 pounds of Italian honeybees to raise in her first beehive. She volunteers her time with helping homeless dogs.
